Hylands Park Engagement Session
That dreaded virus kept us all indoors for far too long. So, when the rules relaxed enough to allow me to get out and do engagement sessions again, it was a good day.
And getting to capture Hannah & Chris’ Hylands Park engagement session was a GREAT day!
It was a strange thing to navigate, this new world. When Chris reached his hand out to shake mine, I felt so horrendously rude for denying it. Sorry, Chris, was just trying to remain professional, y’know!
But get out and shoot we did, and not only that, but with Hannah & Chris, we were blessed with a beautiful summers day, with an even more amazing sunset. Just check out those shots through the trees. Melt!
Hylands Park Engagement Photo Shoot
Hannah & Chris chose to have their Hylands Park engagement session after a very sweet proposal from Chris.
You see, Chris took a reluctant and very unaware Hannah out on a Monday night! Trying to hide the surprise by borrowing a shirt so he didn’t suspiciously go home.
As Chris nervously slipped the ring on Hannah’s finger, he reminded her that she hadn’t given him an answer.
But the answer of course, was yes.
And a once nervous Chris, could relax with a face that Hannah will never forget.

For Hannah & Chris, the proposal was so them, and that’s what makes it. I love hearing proposal stories so much. Every one is different and unique, to that couple and their story.
And to be able to tell that story through photos is just, well, a dream!
