Tina & Mark met online, as most people these days tend to. The difference in their case was they met online gaming. Any MMORPG fans in? Bonding over epic battles, a shared playlist and the ol’ english cuppa, they fell in love. A couple after my own heart.

Planning their wedding they wanted a relaxed, chilled day, with the importance placed on everyone having a fun time. Check and check!

A rainy Ye Olde Plough House Wedding

Ah the British weather in January. Yep, it rained. We managed confetti outside, but took the groups inside as the rain worsened. It let up enough that the couple’s portraits were taken under a gentle drizzle, and Tina & Mark didn’t mind getting a little soggy in order to get some fab photos.

While the weather dampened the ground, it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. While couple’s may worry about rain on their day, it really doesn’t have to be an issue. Tina & Mark embraced the weather, and still had an awesome day, all about the joy of their union. Not about perfection.

Keeping out of the rain and in the warmth of Ye Old Plough House, the atmosphere was alive. Tea was flowing, as were the shots, and everyone was having a brilliant time.

Moonlit Evenings & Drunken Departures

As the evening rolled in, a full moon came into view, a magical event close to Tina’s heart. Of course we couldn’t resist going to capture a few spontaneous moonlit night shots. Tina even risked muddy feet, and a muddy dress in order to do so. With no regrets!

Evening turned into night, and the dance floor was booming. Some guests hit it a little hard, and made early departures home to the safety of their bed. Where they might have awoken the following day with a headache!
