A Windy Beach Proposal That Set the Tone (and more) on Fire

What was supposed to be a romantic proposal with candles and wine, turned slightly comical when the wind picked up.

The candles wouldn’t light and the box of matches decided they would light and go up in flames.

Through Ella’s laughter she saw Josh drop to one knee. Naturally that laughter quickly turned to tears, as the realisation of what was happening hit Ella.

They were young, juggling their studies and work, but Ella tells me there wasn’t a doubt in her mind as she eventually choked out a yes!

Seven Years of Growth, Goals & Getting Here Together
