Let’s Go to the Beach, Each. Somewhere That Means Something…
“Let’s go to the beach-each…”
Heading to Walton-on-the-Naze for Kerrie & Terry’s engagement shoot, wasn’t just about shooting in a stunning location.
Nope.
It was about going and capturing something that meant something to them both… We’ll get to that in a bit.
With their wedding day fast approaching, we managed to squeeze in this shoot just in time.
There was a little chill in the air, given that it was early September.
But as Terry planned to wear shorts to his late October wedding, (given that he was rarely out of them) they didn’t mind the little chill in the air.
From Proposal Excitement to Engagement Photos
This beach has lots of meaning for this beautiful pair, the biggest thing being it was the place Terry had decided to pop the question.
It made total sense this would be the place we would host their beach engagement shoot.
Part of their story all over again, their little’un Hunter joined us for some shenanigans… But he mostly just played in the sea while we shot some photos.
When looking for a location for engagement photos, they mean even more when the place holds significance for you too.
From Beachy Engagement to Wonderful Wedding
Beach shoots always bring a little chaos alongside, wind in your hair, sand here and there, wave dodging.
Giving that these two were planning an incredibly unique wedding, it was exciting to capture their engagement photos in the same way.
Another leg of their story, you see?
A perfect warm up for the wedding day, it got these two feeling a bit more relaxed in front of the camera, ready to smash their wedding day.
And their wedding day? Pure vibes. Seriously. Check out their Houchins Wedding Photography here!
