It doesn’t have to be this way. Honestly! Wedding planning doesn’t have to be stressful. You might think I’m crazy, and that’s fair enough. These tips will help you have at the very least, a less stressful wedding planning experience, if you do it well.
And to create a stress-free experience, it’s simple, really:
Prepare for the tasks ahead, brain dump ideas, get hyper focused, and just get your mind into the right mindset. If this is too difficult, consider hiring a wedding planner.
Research the kind of day you want to have, the costs for the things you must have. Knowledge is power, and so research is key – it might take over your life, so try not to let it!
Now you’ve bags of research you want to start planning your plans. I know, sounds awesome right?! Really think about venue styles that’ll suit your ideal theme. Will it be indoor, outdoor. And have a backup plan as well.
4. Get Organised.
This’ll help with all the the above, organise your thoughts, plans and ideas. You could use Pinterest, spreadsheets, apps, all manner of things, just make sure it works for your brain!
5. Decide a budget.
This is key, planning your budget is important because its easy to let it get out of hand. Again it doesn’t sound all that exciting, but you’ll thank yourself later.
Planning is the best way to relax.
Alright, it sounds a bit dull and boring but honestly the best way to have a relaxed day you’ll love, is to be super organised with your planning, down to the stuff that sounds boring, but you secretly really love.
