Meant to be! Sam & Jade’s Wedding at Channels
They say if you love something, let it go, and if it comes back to you, it’s yours forever. Well, that couldn’t be truer for Sam and Jade.
These two first met as teenagers at Peter Pan’s Playground in Southend (now Adventure Island), where it all began. Life took them in different directions for a while; but fate clearly had other ideas.
Fourteen years later, they found their way back to each other, and the rest, as they say, is history.
If you ever needed proof that some things are meant to be, just look at these two. Their laughter, their glances, and the way they light up around each other. It’s the kind of connection that just feels effortless.
Surprise the Bride at Channels!
Now, Sam had a few surprises up her sleeve for Jade, and it made the day all the more unforgettable!
To start with, there were not one, but two outfits. Guests tried their best to guess what Sam would be wearing, but of course, Jade was the only one who got it right (no surprises there – she clearly knows her girl!).
Then came the big one – a surprise horse and carriage ride after the ceremony!
Somehow, everyone managed to keep quiet, and Jade had absolutely no idea what was waiting for her. Watching her face light up when she saw it was pure magic.
And just when you thought that was enough, there was also a flash mob dancing up a storm on the dancefloor!
Jade spent the morning getting ready on-site at Channels, surrounded by her nearest and dearest, the excitement building as the surprises started to unfold. You could feel the buzz all morning — that mix of nerves, love, and joy that makes weddings so special.
Laughter, Tears, and a Hell of a Party
The rest of the day was nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster; from speeches that had just about everyone in tears (including oe or two from me behind the camera), to a flash mob that kicked off an evening full of singing, dancing, and laughter.
For Sam and Jade, it was everything they’d hoped for — finally saying “I do” after all these years, celebrating surrounded by everyone they love, and dancing the night away as wives.
Sam said she couldn’t wait to show Jade off as her wife, and honestly, the pride and love between them was beautiful to witness. Jade, meanwhile, looked absolutely stunning and spent the whole day radiating happiness.
It was a friggin’ epic day from start to finish, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have been the one to capture it all.
