Ashridge Estate Family Photography with Sarah, Richard & Noah!
It was set to be a hot day, a really hot day, the highs were around 34 degrees. With the gorgeous weather I headed up to Ashridge for this Ashridge Estate family photography session.
Getting a tad lost on the way, I had absolutely NO signal. No 3G, 4G or network at all. My worst nightmare was happening. This was the first time I’d photographed at Ashridge Estate – explains why getting lost was so easy. Thinking I’d Google mapped it perfectly – turned out that was somewhere else. Doh!
Starting to panic and wondering what on earth I was going to do, I finally found a patch of signal. After one call didn’t go through, anxiously I tried again. The next call went through and everything went ahead as planned – nightmare averted!
Family Photography Year on Year – Documenting Memories
Sarah and I worked together a few years ago. Working with Sarah is what brought me my first solo wedding and I’ve photographed lots for her family over the years. It’s safe to say I wouldn’t be where I am today without her.
I’ve a lot to thank her for – not only did she recommend me, she had faith when I’d barely decided to start my business. Always wanting to help me chase my dream. She’s come back on multiple occasions; parties, Noah newborn shots and family shoots years later which makes me seriously so proud and grateful.
In the time I’ve known Sarah, she’s gone from girlfriend to wife to mother and that’s a beautiful development to be a part of. I’m so proud to have been able to capture some of these milestones for her family.
